We interrupt this programme…

I'm Morwenna Lawson, or Mo, a content writer and blogger based in north London. At least, I was.

You might have found your way here because you’re a potential client looking for content, regular blogs, or online articles. This was me, but now I’m working towards an MA in Creative Writing at the Arts University Bournemouth, and my content writing has been placed on a shelf (along with Sleep, Weekends, and Dosh).

My current passion is short story writing, and I’m thrilled to have reached the shortlist for the 2025 Bath Short Story Award with my story ‘Wheels’. Am not when sure the tinging will stop, but pressing straight on with further submissions is always advisable. Please do recommend any awards that you know of; am also happy to talk about writing in all its shapes and forms.

What’s on the other side of this study rollercoaster? Who knows, but it will probably look very different to how things were before. For now, this website gives a good roundup of how I worked and what I did in the days PMA (pre-MA).
